How does a Pet Wellness Plan Work?
Our clients always want to put their pets' health above financial concerns. But as important as regular preventive care can be for your pet's health, it can still sometimes be difficult to manage these recurring expenses.
Our Wellness Plans 'bundles' all the preventive services that keep your pet healthy throughout the year into an easy monthly payment plan, helping you save money and manage your budget.
What is included in a Pet Wellness Plan?
Our Pet Wellness Plans for Jacksonville cats and dogs include all the essentials your pet needs to stay happy and healthy.
Our Plans include annual and mid-year wellness exams, core vaccinations, bloodwork, and heartworm testing. They will also include a 12-month supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medications.
The Importance of Preventive Care
Wellness exams are total health checkups for your dog or cat. They allow your vet to spot and treat any emerging health conditions and check your pet's diet, ensuring they are receiving their correct nutritional needs.
Sometimes pets can look healthy, but early signs of disease can hide in their bodies with no recognizable symptoms. For this reason, we run bloodwork to be certain they are in good health.
When left untreated, parasites can be dangerous to your pet's health. Preventive care offers the best form of protection, which is why we provide a year-long supply of flea, tick, and heartworm medication with our Wellness Plans.
If your pet is infected with parasites, our fecal exams and heartworm tests can catch these serious conditions before they have the chance to make your pet extremely sick.

Can I pay for a full year up front?
Yes, you are able to pay for the entire year upfront when you enroll in one of our Wellness Plans.
An additional $35 one-time membership fee is collected upon enrollment.

Do Wellness Plans renew automatically after a year?
Yes, your Wellness Plan will automatically renew once a year unless you request that we cancel your plan.

How do I make the monthly payments?
We accept both credit card and automatic debit withdrawal payment options. Your payment information is entered into a secure portal when you sign up for your plan. You can choose the withdrawal date between the 1st and 15th of each month that's best for you.

I have more than one pet. Can I get a discount on multiple wellness plans?
When you sign up multiple pets at the same time, you will only pay the one-time $35 enrolment fee once (not for each pet).

A Pet Wellness Plan can help your pet continue to feel their best as they age. Wellness Plans for older pets include the standard core services, in addition to screening for various age-related diseases and disorders.

My pet is young and healthy. Does it make sense to buy a Wellness Plan?
Routine preventive care is highly beneficial for younger animals because it helps build a foundation for optimal life-long health. When you sign your pet up for a Wellness Plan as a puppy or kitten, puppy/kitten vaccinations are included in the monthly fee.

If your pet passes away during your 12-month commitment, we will cancel the plan immediately.

What is the difference between a Pet Wellness Plan and pet insurance?
While both Wellness Plans and pet insurance help you manage the costs of your pet's veterinary care, the types of veterinary services they cover are different.
Wellness Plans include preventive care costs (things like vaccinations and routine exams), while Pet Insurance is designed to cover emergency services, accidents, or specific illnesses.

What types of Pet Wellness Plans do you offer?
We offer Pet Wellness Plans for small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, extra-large dogs, giant dogs, and cats.

Will the Wellness Plan cover all of my pet's healthcare needs?
Wellness plans cover the routine care that all cats and dogs need (core vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, and more). You will also receive a 10% discount on any other service your pet needs, excluding diets, grooming, and referral services.
